It all begins with memories.
The ones we carry, the ones we search for, the ones that return when the light falls a certain way. Photography became my way of holding onto these fragments and understanding where I come from and what continues to shape me.
I grew up between the wide, quiet landscapes of the Po Valley, where distance and silence have their own texture. Those early impressions still guide me. Today, whether I’m photographing the hidden corners of Italy, the vast open spaces of the Faroe Islands, the gentle rhythms of rural life, or the crowded streets of Tokyo, I’m always looking for the same thing: a moment that feels authentic.
My work is rooted in lyrical minimalism. I’m drawn to soft light, simple lines, and places that ask you to pause. I believe photographs can hold more by showing less. They become a way to honor both the seen and the unseen, the physical world and the emotional one.
I approach each project slowly and intentionally, often traveling with only a small camera and a sense of curiosity.
I use both digital and film, letting each medium shape the mood of the work. Many of my projects explore memory, healing, and belonging, using landscapes and quiet scenes as metaphors for internal experience.
My goal is always the same: to make images that breathe, that feel lived-in, and that invite the viewer to look a little longer.
